In 2007, the Syracuse Rocket Club and the Museum of Science and Technology in Syracuse, NY, initiated this ambitious project - a group of high school students and Syracuse University students built the 143 pound three-quarter scale Nike Smoke rocket and  successfully flew it at NYPOWER 12.  A PerfectFlite altimeter went along for the ride!
