“I have an older version of the MAWD which wound up in a fire on a nitrous rocket
(burned for about a minute with 9 volt batteries exploding below it). I have to
use the manual as a reference because nothing on the board is legible. The altitude
sensor has a black glaze on it and some of the connector blocks are melted over the
screws. That's o.k., it still works fine!” -
